The Taragate Geared Reel features a 3:1 gear ratio to make winding up temporary electric fence wire fast and easy.
Each Taragate reel features a long insulated crank handle, an insulated carry handle which easily hooks onto high tensile electric fence wire, a patented wire guide to reduce the chance of your electric fence wire getting tangled, and a 5 year UV warranty on the new and improved polymer spool.
The carry and crank handles are DACROMET® coated (zinc / aluminum flakes in an inorganic binder) which provides a corrosion-resistant and durable finish for years to come.
Taragate 3:1 Geared Reels hold up to 1640′ (500m) of mixed metal polybraid or stainless steel polybraid / polywire or 656′ (200m) of polytape, so they’re perfect for setting up temporary grazing paddocks on any farm or ranch.
